Kate Snow
LMFT · Founder & Clinical Director
I help couples, individuals, and families build the kinds of relationships they actually want, grounded in real connection, not just conflict resolution.
I founded Flatirons Relationship Center because I believe that relationships with a partner, with family, and with yourself are worth fighting for. Not in the combative sense, but in the deliberate, courageous, show-up-even-when-it's-hard sense.
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most well-researched approaches in the field. I chose EFT because it doesn't just teach communication skills. It gets at what's actually happening beneath the surface. The fears, the longings, the patterns we learned long before we even knew we were learning them.
Before opening this practice, I trained extensively in EFT and attachment theory. My work spans couples, families, and individuals, but the through-line is always the same: helping people feel less alone in their relationships and more capable of showing up the way they want to.
My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I aim to create a space that feels inclusive and supportive, while also helping the work stay focused and useful. My hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself and the people you love more clearly, so your relationships can feel safer, closer, and more alive.

How I work
Attachment-based
Our earliest relationships shape how we connect, protect ourselves, and seek closeness. Understanding your attachment patterns is often the key that unlocks everything else.
Emotionally Focused
EFT goes beneath surface behaviors to the emotions underneath. When people can share what they actually feel, not just what they argue about, the dynamic shifts.
Systems-oriented
No person or relationship exists in isolation. I look at the larger patterns (family of origin, relational dynamics, cultural context) that shape what we bring to our closest relationships.
Who I work with
01Couples
↗Couples stuck in conflict cycles, disconnection, betrayal recovery, and couples wanting to build a stronger foundation.
Individuals
↗People working through relationship patterns, acute stressors, identity development and how their past shapes their present.
Families
↗Families navigating life transitions, conflict and disconnection, divorce, blended dynamics, and the moments that put everyone under strain.
